The Body Exfoliant Trick That’ll Wow Your Clients

Spa treatments are all about delivering that perfect blend of luxury and results, and finding a product that ticks all the boxes can feel like a win. Eco-fin is one of those gems—super versatile, easy to use, and guaranteed to make your clients feel pampered. It’s a multi-use emollient that can be customized in so many ways. Here’s how you can turn it into a heavenly exfoliant. Trust us, your clients will love it, and you’ll love how simple it is to make.

Why Eco-fin?

Eco-fin is like the Swiss Army knife of spa products. It’s all-natural and packed with plant oils and shea butter that deeply hydrate and nourish the skin. Plus, it’s incredibly adaptable! From hand and foot wraps to massage enhancements, there’s a lot you can do with Eco-fin—including making a fabulous exfoliant.

What You’ll Need

  • Eco-fin cubes (2 cubes per treatment is perfect!)
  • A heat-safe rubber bowl
  • A hot towel cabi (to preheat)
  • Your choice of exfoliating ingredient:
    • Spa Pantry French Sea Salt for a gentle, fine texture
    • Sugar, salt, or even dried herbs for custom vibes and aromas

How to Make It

  1. Melt Your Eco-fin: Grab two Eco-fin cubes and pop them into a rubber bowl. Place the bowl in your hot towel cabinet to melt the cubes, about 25 minutes. (Pro tip: Make it in advance and keep it warm in your cabi.) Once melted, you’re ready to mix.
  2. Mix Your Exfoliant: Take your melted Eco-fin and add your exfoliating ingredient of choice. For a fine, moisturizing exfoliant, use about 1.5 teaspoons of Spa Pantry French Sea Salt. Stir it up until it’s all blended nicely.
  3. Apply the Exfoliant: Using your hands or a brush, spread the mixture onto your client’s skin. Focus on areas that could use some extra love. Massage gently to exfoliate and let the nourishing goodness of Eco-fin sink in.
  4. Rinse and Finish: Wipe away the exfoliant with warm, damp towels, revealing smooth, glowing skin. To finish, you can follow up with a massage using warm Eco-fin or another moisturizer to lock in all that hydration.

Why This Works

This treatment is a total game-changer. The exfoliant removes dead skin cells while Eco-fin’s oils deeply hydrate. The result? Skin that’s silky, supple, and oh-so-glowy. Plus, it’s quick and easy, making it a fantastic add-on to your body treatments.

Tips for Success

  • Get creative with your exfoliants! Add dried lavender or rosemary for a calming aromatherapy twist, or use sugar for a softer texture.
  • Mix up larger batches if you’re short on time. Just store them at room temperature and give them a good stir before using.
  • Highlight this exfoliant as part of a seasonal or signature treatment. Your clients will feel like they’re getting something extra special.
