Increase Add-on Sales with Targeted Cupping Services!
One of the best ways to increase spa revenue is by offering quick treatment add-ons that maximize ROI without taking up too much of a client's time. When looking to bring more of these treatment options to your clients, consider cupping therapy.
Cupping is perfect for targeted add-ons that can be used alongside larger treatments. It comes with a very low investment cost and it's extremely popular with spa customers. Add-on services are also a great way for you to introduce a new form of massage to clients, which makes it easier to sell your larger cupping services down the line.
To help you get started, we've put together two easy add-ons that you can add to your spa menu today.
Facelift Massage: 10 minutes
What to Do:
- 1. Cleanse the skin using the Deep Cleanse Pro Facial Mitt, taking care to wipe off any eye makeup. Remember that no cleanser should be used with the mitt. Follow by cleansing the client’s skin with the cleanser of your choice to give a full spa experience.
- 2. Apply 1 drop of Renew Pure Essential Complex to your hands and gently use pressure point therapy to apply it to the temples, underneath the eyes, and lymph nodes under the jaw line.
- 3. It’s recommended that you finish the massage on the right side of the face before repeating procedure on the left side. This gives you the opportunity to show the client that there is improvement. You may sit the client up if they’re not in a deep, relaxed state.
- 4. Follow by applying the Skin Get a Life Professional Oil to the face. Perform the Facial Cupping Massage, starting with drainage to clear the lymph. Focus on massaging the areas of sagging and wrinkles, such as the forehead, below the eyes, the nasolabial folds, jowls, and double chin. Use the Soft Facial and Soft Bambino Cups for the treatment.
- 5. End the treatment by draining the full face and using hand effleurage to work in the excess oil or wipe it off with the Deep Cleanse Pro Mitt.
Eye Bag Removal: 15 minutes
What to Do:
- 1. Cleanse the skin using the Deep Cleanse Pro Facial Mitt, taking care to wipe off any eye makeup. Remember that no cleanser should be used with the mitt. Follow by cleansing the client’s skin with the cleanser of your choice to give a full spa experience.
- 2. Apply 1 drop of Revive Pure Essential Complex to your hands and gently use pressure point therapy to apply it to the temples, underneath the eyes, and lymph nodes under the jaw line.
- 3. It’s recommended that you finish the massage on the right side of the face before repeating procedure on the left side. This gives you the opportunity to show the client that there is improvement. You may sit the client up if they’re not in a deep, relaxed state.
- 4. Follow by applying the Circuflow Professional Oil to the full face. Perform the Facial Cupping Massage and focus on massaging the forehead and underneath the eyes, draining from the midline outwards. Use the Soft Facial and Soft Bambino Cups for this treatment. Perform small circles in the same manner. Pro Tip: The fish-bite (squeeze and pump) movement where you pump and glide the cup along the eye bank is a great way to help expel fluid. End by draining along the facial massage paths.
- 5. Finish the treatment by using hand massage, ending at the pressure point in the occipital hollow. End by wiping the excess oil off with the Deep Cleanse Pro Facial Mitt or massage it into the skin depending on what is requested by the client.
