Treatment Suggestion
Wet loofah with warm water. Apply shower gel mixed with warm water and lather on client’s skin. Use circular movements with loofah to create a clean, refreshing exfoliation. Have your clients shower off product and follow up with a luxurious moisturizing body service. Offer the loofah to the client as a gift with service for home care.
NOTE: This is recommended to be given with service for each client and should not be used with multiple clients.
Loofah Care
Loofah will be stiff when received. Place it under warm water to soften the pad.
Rinse with clean warm water after use. Then, squeeze, shake out water, and allow to dry.
It can be put into a washing machine to clean, or you can soak it in a diluted water and bleach mixture for 5 minutes. Then, thoroughly rinse it with clean water and allow to dry.
Let clients know that loofahs should be replaced every 3 weeks. It is not recommended that they use it if they notice any mold growth or if it begins to smell musty.
