Outer facing materials offer a soft, fluid protection barrier, while the inner facing assures comfort and breathability. These masks are considered a non-medical grade (Level 1) disposable masks, which do not require certification. BFE > 98% ; PFE > 97%. Made in the USA.
Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) measures the filtration efficiency of masks using live bacteria (viable particles) that vary in size from 1 to 5 microns.
Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) measures the filtration efficiency of a mask using non-living, or non-viable particles that are fixed in size from 0.1 micron to 1 micron.
